5th & 6th Class - Touch Typing
'This year, 5th & 6th class pupils are learning touch typing. Each morning, the students spend 10-15 minutes practicing their typing skills, even using tea towels to cover their fingers to make sure they cannot look! They are also doing 10 minutes of typing for homework each evening. The programme we are using shows each student's individual progression, with certificates for each section completed. It will be great to see the students' improvement over the coming terms.

Lots of fun in Mrs McCarthys Room!
We are having lots of fun exploring and trying out new things . We particularly love our classroom tent, we can relax in it, read stories or play with the cuddly toys. Some of our favourite activities are pulling the suckers off the radiator and playing with the smooshy sand in the tuff tray.
