1st of February - St. Brigid'S Day
|
St. Brigid's Day is celebrated each year on the first of February. She is one of the most famous saints in Ireland. She is fondly remembered for her generosity and healing powers.
If we were in school we would have made St. Brigid's crosses for everyone to take home. I must say ye did a good job at making them last year, so why not give it a go at home this year! This video may help ye. |
Yoga
|
This Friday morning, before you start any work I want you all to try something different. Take ten minuets to do this simple yoga workout. It is called 'Wake Up Yoga'. It is said to have massive benefits for people and makes you much more alert and productive during the day.
Remember not to over stretch and don't do anything you are not comfortable with. Best of luck |

Bloody Sunday
As ye know, Bloody Sunday is one of the options for our projects, along with The Olympics, The History of the GAA and Space. I decided to give a wide variety to ensure everyone would be interested in the project they are completing. This is a short video in relation to Bloody Sunday. It is concise but has great detail. When you are watching the video it might be a good idea to have a your pencil and copy and take notes as pointers for your project. |
Music
Perfect by Ed Sheeran with Lámh I know we all did this during the year but I think it is a nice one to go back on and it is great to revise our lámh signs after the Christmas break. |
